Description The entrance building was the nerve center of the Nazi management of the camp. Within, soldiers and bureaucrats calmly ordered millions to their deaths, filing the incidents away like so much paperwork. A visit to this building is a glimpse into what it must've been like for the soldiers of the camp, tasked with the extermination of the camp's occupants, and letting that show on their souls in a variety of ways. |
