Description The Nazis thought that they'd be able to conceal the evidence of their crimes in the great furnaces, but, as they soon discovered, not everything burns. Thus, in a remote section of the camp, large pits and mass graves were dug. Prisoners were forced to dump the bodies of their friends and relatives into the pits until they themselves dropped from exhaustion. |
